Charles Cattano III, MBA, FBS®
How I Like to Work with PeopleBesides the first phone call, email, or meeting, I enjoy the ongoing aspects of checking in with my Clients, having lunch or dinner, and really getting to know them and their families. Often this additional layer of interaction leads to a better Client solution because there is inherently a deeper understanding of their situation.
Areas of Focus
My biggest focus involves working with tech/biotech executives and employees with high levels of stock concentration. We provide stock option scenario planning, financial planning, and investment management while coordinating closely with our Clients’ tax and legal professionals.
Why I became a wealth advisor
I became a wealth advisor for a couple of reasons—the first being that I was in sales management in 1993, was beginning to invest, and at the time the answer from the discount brokerage firm was “we can’t give you any advice on what you are buying”. The light bulb went on—lots of other successful people also needed advice. The second reason is that my entire life, including education and work, involves continual learning and curiosity—the investment world is a perfect environment for pursuing constant intellectual stimulation while also using people skills to help Clients navigate their financial lives.
“Fortune favors the prepared mind.”
